HIKING IN KISSAVOS
The Office of Physical Education of the University of Thessaly, in the context of sports and cultural activities organizes for all students, including Erasmus students, a one-day training exercise (hiking) at KISSAVO Gorge Kalypso on the 21st of May!!!
Enjoy the view of the largest waterfall (70 meters) of Kissavos in the gorge of exceptional beauty "Kalypso" above the villages of Kokkino Nero and Karytsa.
We will walk about 1 hour and 30 minutes through the verdant path at the base of the waterfall where we will stay for an hour for an enjoyable swim in the crystal clear waters of the lake.
After a course of 2-3 hours we will end up at Stomiou beach for 2 hours of swimming in the sea. Then we will dine in a traditional tavern.
Duration of the ascent: 1 hour and 30 minutes
Descent: 1 hour and 30 minutes approximately
The bus will depart at 07:00 a.m. in front of the main entrance of the University of Thessaly in Larissa (Gaiopolis) for those who live in Estia and for those who live in the center will pass at 07:15 from Agios Achilleios (horse statue).
Return: 18:30pm.
