Discover the UNESCO world heritage site of the Semmering railway during a hike through the mountains of Lower Austria

On Sunday, we'll go for a hike to the Semmering mountain and follow the "Bahnwanderweg", a hiking trail along the world's first true mountain railway, which is now a UNESCO world heritage site ☀️🏔️🌳🚂
This is a relatively easy hike with a length of around 15 km and an elevation gain of around 500 m.
▬▬▬▬▬ WHERE & WHEN ▬▬▬▬▬
We will meet at Wien Hauptbahnhof, in front of Starbucks (on the -1 floor). If you arrive with the U1 metro, just go straight until you see us.

We will be back in Vienna around 18:30.
▬▬▬▬ WHAT TO BRING ▬▬▬▬▬▬
Please bring the following things:
* Food and water (at least 1 litre!)
* Good shoes – either hiking boots or other sports shoes.
* A jacket! It might get cold
* A mask for the train ride
* The money in cash. Please bring the exact amount!

10€/12€ with/without ESNcard
You pay at the meeting point, so please bring the exact amount! This money will be used for the train tickets.
(No payment if you have a Klima Ticket)
