To promote the involvement of international students in outdoor activities in Malta, the aim is to encourage them to explore the rich historical landmarks of the region while simultaneously engaging in physical activities. The initiative of the hike was to create an immersive experience that not only fosters cultural exploration but also promotes a healthy and active lifestyle among the international student community. By combining the discovery of Malta's historical heritage with physical engagement, the event aspired to enhance the overall educational and recreational experience for students from diverse backgrounds, fostering a deeper connection to both the cultural and physical aspects of the vibrant Mediterranean destination that Malta is.
Hike on historical landmarks of Malta, that began in the town Rabat. The journey spanned approximately 10 kilometers, and ended in Mosta. The hike offered diverse landscapes and viewpoints of the Island as well as offering an opportunity to explore Malta's heritage. The hike can also be a physical challenge to many so students have a satisfying workout to look back at in the end.
