Goal of the Activity

Promoting Croatian natural heritage.

Description

National park Paklenica is a proper Croatian gem, and our Erasmus students think so now too! Our first hiking stop was Manita cave - our students were taught everything about caves and how sensitive ecosystems they are. They had a tour inside the cave, took some flash-free photos and even saw some bat species on the way. After caving, they proceeded to the Paklenica mountain hut, where the bbq took place. They looked for wood around the area, lit up the firepit and had a proper mountain meal, accompanied by the fresh water directly from the spring. The mountain hut host even prepared some vegan and gluten-free warm meals so no one left hungry! After leaving the nature exactly as we found it, we left the hut and went back home, tired, but with lifetime memories.
