Goal of the Activity

The goal of Help at the Animal Shelter was to engage international students in a meaningful act of community service by supporting a local animal shelter. The activity aimed to promote empathy, social responsibility, and teamwork, while also giving students the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of animals in need.

Description

ESN UAM Poznań invited Erasmus students to spend a heartwarming day volunteering at a local animal shelter. 🐶🐱 Participants helped with a variety of tasks — from walking dogs and cleaning kennels to playing with animals and organizing food or supplies.

The event offered a chance to connect with furry friends, give back to the local community, and bond with fellow students over a shared love for animals. It was not only about lending a helping hand but also about spreading kindness and raising awareness about animal welfare.

Whether it was your first time volunteering or you’re a lifelong animal lover, this experience left everyone with warm hearts, wagging tails, and a sense of doing something truly good. 🐾💚
