Goal of the Activity
The goal of the activity was to introduce mindfulness meditation and the Wim Hof breathing technique in greater detail and also go through a group session of each.
Description
During the start of the workshop, a group discussion was led about the purpose of meditation and Wim Hof breathing technique. Both were explained on how to do, how they affect the mind and the body. Afterwards, a mindfulness meditation session followed. Discussion ensued on how people felt, what they struggled with and how they liked it. The same followed for the Wim Hof breathing technique. After the end of the Wim Hof breathing session, a general discussion on how to improve one's mental health followed and concluded the event.
