Promote the linguistic and cultural learning of Erasmus students and young people from Santander through dynamic activities
The activity was a language exchange held at the Espacio Joven in Santander, a free space managed by the City Council. On this occasion, the event was organized in collaboration with the Espacio Joven and was part of its program “La Noche es Joven”. This allowed not only Erasmus students but also local young people from Santander, aged between 15 and 30, to take part.
Participants enjoyed three activities that were designed to encourage interaction and make connections.
The session began with a bingo game featuring different Halloween related items. Participants had to ask each other who had completed each activity in order to fill their bingo cards, making it a fun way to share experiences and get to know one another.
Next, we divided the participants into two groups for a game of telephone. In this activity, a Halloween-related phrase was whispered to one participant in each group, who then whispered it to the next person in line, trying to reach the end of the circle with the original phrase.
The session concluded with a game of Clue, where participants prepared a story with different characters, each with a different piece of information, with the goal of discovering who had stolen a Halloween mask. The participants who came closest to the answer received a quesada, a typical regional pastry, as a prize.
