Goal of the Activity
The goal of the activity was to learn more about Italian gelato, which is famous all over the world.
Description
We visited 4 different ice cream shops in Trieste. Each of them taught us something about how Italian gelato is made, and our students had the chance to try one ice cream scoop in every shop. At the end, we voted for the best ice cream in Trieste.
After the activity, each ice cream shop issued a voucher to donate free ice cream scoops. We will give them to young people under the autistic spectrum or affected by mental disabilities in a facility of the local healthcare institution, ASUGI, which also gave us its patronage.
