The main goal was to provide an opportunity for them to connect with one another and immerse themselves in the vibrant local culture. The event aimed to offer a relaxed environment where students could socialise, exchange experiences, and build friendships. By exploring the lively atmosphere of Kadıköy, students had the chance to experience its unique blend of modern and traditional elements, from local shops to cultural landmarks. The gathering also encouraged intercultural exchange, allowing students from diverse backgrounds to share and learn from each other’s perspectives, further enriching their overall Erasmus experience.
The gathering for Erasmus students took place at 7 PM in a pub called Gergedan in Kadıköy. The main purpose of the event was to provide students with a relaxed mid-week break, offering them the chance to unwind and socialise in a casual setting. The evening allowed participants to connect with one another, share experiences, and talk about their time at university and life in Istanbul. The warm and friendly atmosphere of the pub made it the perfect venue for students to exchange stories, discuss the challenges of living in a new city, and build a sense of community among those from diverse backgrounds.
