Goal of the Activity

On the one hand, the main goal of the virtual dialogue was to acquaint current and future partner universities, as well as the National Agency with the priorities of the new Erasmus program, as well as to present the initiatives and projects of ЕSN on national and international level in relevant fields. On the other hand, the ESN provoked a dialogue among those present in order to identify opportunities and problem areas in expanding the scope of the Erasmus program and implementing the priorities in the next programming period.

Description

On June 12, 2020 ESN Bulgaria celebrated its 12th birthday in an unusual way, given the unprecedented global situation - through a virtual dialogue in two days. The virtual dialogue aimed to discuss topics such as the future development of the Erasmus program 2021-2027, and the dissemination of COVID-19 and the impact on students under the Erasmus + program and measures we have taken in ESN Bulgaria.

"Guests of our celebration" were the representatives of the international offices with which ESN cooperates and potential partners, and representatives of the National Agency.

The highlight of the event was the participation of Ms. Maria Gabriel - Commissioner in the Department of Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth, who congratulated ESN Bulgaria for its contribution to building a bridge that connects young people and the European institutions, proving that the Erasmus program creates young leaders who have critical thinking, European civic awareness and preserve EU values.
