The goal is to connect internationals with each other and have fun at the park.

Description

Dear Erasmus students, you’ve been here for a while now and it’s almost impossible that you didn’t hear about Germany’s most famous drinking game: Flunkyball 🍺

If you haven't played it yet, this is your chance! On Sunday, 19th June, you’re all invited to participate in the ESN Hamburg Flunkyball Tournament TM. You will be playing in teams of 4 and challenge each other for the grand prize of Flunkyball Champion of the Spring Semester 2022. 🏆

If you don't know the rules, we will explain them to you again before the tournament starts, but you can also prepare by looking them up online 😉

📍It will take place at Stadtpark, so that we have enough space to play several games simultaneously

As it is a drinking game, you will have to bring your own drinks and for Flunkyball only one option is possible: 0.5L beers (brand and type are up to you, the rules are strict but not that strict). No other drink or format will be accepted. For people who don't drink beer, you can still play friendly games with other drinks (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) of course, but you will not be able to participate in the tournament as it would be a bit unfair. 😊

You will need one 0.5L beer per game, so make sure to bring enough because you will need more or less, depending on your team's skills!

In parallel to the tournament, we will have a few Spikeball sets and the public beach volleyball courts are also available, so feel free to join even if you're not interested in Flunkyball and just want to enjoy the nice weather, have a picnic, play some outdoor sports and cheer for your favorite teams! 🥳

We really hope to see a lot of you there, as Flunkyball is a signature game of Germany and is part of the student culture!

The registration is only needed if you plan to participate in the official tournament and will be closed on the 16th of June, as we need to prepare the match planning. You will be asked to register in teams of 4 and give a team name

Those who don't wish to take part in the tournament can just show up spontaneously ☺️
