"Fenêtre sur le Monde" is a project that aims to showcase the cultural diversity of Besançon's campus and to foster intercultural dialogue.
Fenêtre sur le Monde is a project born at the end of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2021. The end of the academic year had been disrupted by a complicated health situation, preventing the usual festive moments marking the end of exams from taking place, for the second year in a row.
Since the start of the health crisis, our volunteered kept on inovating and creating activities and projects safe for all, and eventually created the "Fenêtre sur le Monde" (“Window on the world”) event. The purpose of this event was to celebrate the end of the academic year, by making Besançon's inhabitants discover the cultural diversity of international students from Besançon.
Since 2021, at the end of each semester, ESN Besançon publishes a video exhibition of portraits of international students on Instagram.
