The aim of this activity was to promote Europe, Erasmus and cultural diversity.
The event was divided into two parts, Speak Dating and the Flag Parade
SPEAK DATING was organized in the middle of our lovely campus of the Technical University of Liberec. International students helped us with the event by having short conversations with Czech students from Liberec's high schools and the university. Czech students could learn some foreign phrases and get to know their culture a bit. To motivate them, we created a short quiz. The aim was to get some information about the countries from Erasmus students and answer the questions correctly to win the prize. Students had also an opportunity to talk to Czech students who had an experience with Erasmus, ask about ESN, and internships. In cooperation with Eurocentrum and V-klub they also had an opportunity to play mini-games like building a giant puzzle of the map of Europe.
FLAG PARADE took place after the lunch break. We invited all the Erasmus students to join. The start was the main campus and then we moved to the city centre. Each Erasmus student was wearing a flag of their country, The aim was to promote Erasmus and diversity.
