EUrope and Italy: What it means to be European

Among the values promoted by our Association stand out inclusion, education, promotion of culture and mobility. In order to convey these values among the youngest, every year, on the occasion of Europe Day, we organize a conference, focusing on the importance of European citizenship, focusing on the various aspects that contribute to the formation of this identity: historical and cultural awareness, education and upbringing, adherence to the Erasmus+ program, and everything related to what are the values of the European Union. Now the conference is in its sixth edition and, for the first time, it will be held in English, to include in the dialogue also the international students to whom we, as an Association, mainly address throughout the year.
Each year we try to give a different view of the aspects that characterize the European Union and its integration not only with Italy, but also with each individual citizen, through speeches by outstanding personalities. In the history of this conference there are members of our Association and the CNG, Europarliamentarians and professors from our University, and each of them has contributed to the growth of this event. This year we will talk a lot about the Erasmus program and the opportunities that Europe, as an institution, can offer us and how all of this succeeds in increasing the sense of belonging and European citizenship.
