The event aimed to finalise an online course focused on non-formal education methods, serving as the culmination of virtual learning sessions for participants who aspire to become effective trainers within the Erasmus Student Network organization. Participants were empowered through comprehensive training, guidance, and resources to facilitate educational initiatives and workshops within their respective ESN chapters, ultimately emerging as fully-trained trainers equipped to support the personal and professional development of young people.
The event featured interactive workshops covering topics such as non-formal education methodologies, intercultural communication, leadership development, and project management, along with practical exercises to enhance facilitation skills, foster teamwork, and promote creative problem-solving. Additionally, participants had opportunities for peer-to-peer learning and knowledge exchange, as well as networking opportunities to connect, collaborate, and build relationships with fellow trainers and stakeholders involved in youth development initiatives.
The ESNsharing event, organised collaboratively by ESN Poland and ESN Portugal, was a key activity within the grant project named "Youth in Connection." The overarching goal of the project was to create significant positive impacts in the lives of young people by promoting social inclusion, empowerment, and personal development, while upholding core European Union values such as tolerance, diversity, and respect.
Moreover, participants will establish a network of multipliers dedicated to the Youth in Connection project, facilitating the sharing of best practices, resources, and innovative approaches to promote social inclusion and empowerment among young individuals across diverse communities.
