The aim of taking Erasmus students on a ski trip to Folgaria as part of ESN Trento’s “ESNow” initiative is to offer them a unique and unforgettable experience. This activity allows students to take part in one of Italy’s most beloved winter traditions, encouraging cultural exchange and mutual understanding. By skiing together, participants can build friendships with both fellow students and locals, strengthening their sense of community. Additionally, the trip inspires adventure and discovery, giving students the chance to explore new places and admire the stunning scenery of the Italian Alps. Ultimately, the goal is to enrich the Erasmus journey with an enjoyable and inclusive outdoor experience that fosters connection and personal development.
The event took place over the course of four days. The participation fee covered accommodation, meals (breakfast and dinner), and local transportation. Students had the option to rent ski or snowboard equipment at a discounted rate. Additionally, both beginner and intermediate lessons were available for those who wanted to improve their skills. In the afternoons, après-ski gatherings provided the perfect moment to enjoy each other’s company, with DJ sets hosted by the local ski venue. In the evenings, after dinner, we continued the fun with group parties.
