The goal of this activity is to promote the Acqua Alta bookshop, one of the flagships of our city.
With thousands of old and new books arranged in the most imaginative ways and in a typically Venetian venue, the Acqua Alta bookshop is one of the most evocative places in the city, a must for tourists who come to our city from all over the world, almost as much as Piazza San Marco and the Rialto Bridge. On the occasion of World Book Day we went there to interview Diana, one of the booksellers, who told us the story of the bookstore from its origins to today, focusing in particular on the sometimes imaginative recycling of used or no longer readable books. In this way we were able to connect to the theme of the reuse of materials, in line with the quiz made during Earth Day on April 22, which had as its theme the recycling and reuse of paper and, in turn, with the event "Look , a book! ", of the following day.
