To show the international student one of the most popular Finnish student traditions, Sitsit. The online sitsit is also the perfect opportunity for former exchange students to join and relive a part of their exchange experience from Finland. For Finnish students it's an opportunity to enjoy the beloved event that during the pandemic has not been possible to organize physically.
This time, we will also reminisce the past semester and year with a traditional Finnish way and of course have a lot of fun!

Sitsit is a traditional academic table party originating from the Nordic countries. During this party people eat, play games, sing drinking songs and drink. Sitsit is the most popular student event in Finland and something you’ll have to try to truly experience the Finnish student life. All you need is your most Red Carpet-ready attire
ESN Vaasa is hosting the Gala Sitsit party on SATURDAY May 22nd at 19.00 (Finnish time)! Gather together with your closest friends (following the restrictions) and join the fun through Zoom. You can also participate in the party by yourself and from anywhere around the world because at this party, distance does not matter.
Since it is our last sitsit we would like you to send your memories/highlights of your time in Vaasa or over the last year. If you are a former exchange student please share the memories from your exchange in Vaasa!

Only one person per group signs up
The sitsit starts at 19.00 Finnish time and the Zoom link and song books will be sent to the email of the person that signed up. They can then share the song books with the rest of the group. The toast masters will explain more in the beginning of the sitsit.
