Goal of the Activity
The ESN Utrecht Introduction Week is aimed at introducing the incoming international students to the City of Utrecht! Each participant is placed in a mentor group, where two mentors will then be their point of contact for the whole semester. The activity includes city and nature tours where they can get to know the main locations in the city and explore the nature surrounding the city. Furthermore, social activities such as bowling, pooling, karaoke, and the famous Dutch Cantus are included.
Description
Before the event each participant is placed into a mentor group where 12-15 participants are placed with 2 mentors. The activities were then as follows:
- Monday: Mentor dinner & PoolingÂ
- Tuesday: Nature Walk or City Tour & Pub Crawl or Cantus & Student Party
- Wednesday: Nature Walk or City Tour & Boat Tour around the Canals of Utrecht
- Thursday: Bowling or Karaoke & Party
