Show the ESN members more of what the country has to offer. This time, we are taking them to Maastricht and their surroundings.
Have you ever wanted to experience the Christmas charm of a typical Dutch city? ESN Nijmegen takes you on a trip to beautiful Maastricht! Come with us to explore the city, visit underground caves and stroll around the Christmas market. Thereby take the possibility to meet great new people!
We will meet up at around 9:00 am at Nijmegen central station and go to Maastricht all together by train. Thereby you have the possibility to choose between two options. We offer you to either join a group ticket for the train or to use your own transportation card.
What can you expect?
In Maastricht we will have a great city tour where you will see a lot of beautiful sights while getting to know interesting facts and stories about the city. In December Maastricht is lighted in charming lights so you will come into a cosy Christmas mood. Next to the city tour we will step down into the underground caves of Maastricht. Later in the day, when it’s getting dark, we will explore the lovely Christmas market of Maastricht where you can stroll around, have a look at the cute stalls and drink a warming Glühwein. Between 7 and 8 pm we will all return to Nijmegen, where we will arrive between 9 and 10 pm
