Have you ever wanted to visit the beautiful and unique northern city Groningen? ESN Nijmegen takes you on a trip to explore the energetic and still pleasurably calm city Groningen. If you like meeting new people and enjoy getting to know the Netherlands come with us on the trip to Groningen!
The plan is to take the train in the morning to Groningen. We will meet at Nijmegen Central Station and travel together to Groningen. Thereby you have the possibility to join a group ticket for the train or travel with your own OV- chipcard. In Groningen we have planned a thrilling city tour as well as a lovely boat ride. In the evening around 7 we will travel back together to Nijmegen by train where we will arrive around 21:30.
What you can expect:
Groningen is a typical but still very unique Dutch city in which culture, history and a relaxing atmosphere meet. We start the day in Groningen with a thrilling city tour. You will get to know the city while learning interesting facts and stories about it. During Lunchtime there will be time and lots of possibilities to get some good food or you can bring your own lunch if you like. Afterwards we have planned a boat trip where you can enjoy the water side of Groningen. If the weather turns out to be too rainy for a boat trip we have planned an alternative. Finally, you will have free time to stroll around the cute city yoursel
