Let the local students know about other countries such as France, Germany, and Italy, learning cultural differences and some words in the languages of these countries. Also, practise some sport by going hiking the hill near the school.
As the Projects Training Event of ESN Spain was being held in Cartagena, the ESN volunteers organized an Erasmus in Schools activity in a local school where the students are at risk of social exclusion. Erasmus students from France, Germany, and Italy participated in this activity where the local students could learn about the culture of these countries and some words and phrases in these languages.
Then, the local students from 4th, 5th and 6th grade went hiking with the teachers, Erasmus students, and ESNers to one of the 5 hills that surround the city, where they were in contact with nature and enjoyed the beautiful landscape of Cartagena.
It was really successful, the local students were making a lot of questions to the Erasmus students and the ESNers in English, French and German and even sang some songs in English for us!
