Goal of the Activity

Promoting cultural openness, mutual understanding and overcoming stereotypes through direct meetings of students with foreigners studying in Poland.

Description

Last week, from 31st March to 4th April, we managed to organise as many as 8 Erasmus in Schools meetings, attended by 6 students from countries such as Kazakhstan, Mozambique, Germany and Indonesia. We visited two schools in Poznań, and over 180 pupils participated in the initative. The reactions were very positive - children and young people eagerly asked questions, shared their observations and listened with great interest about everyday life in other parts of the world.

The meetings took the form of interactive lessons - often full of interesting facts, presentations, quizzes and even language elements, thanks to which they engaged Polish pupils and allowed them to explore the world from a completely new perspective in an accessible way. For international students, it was an opportunity to learn more about the Polish education system, improve their language skills and integrate with the local community.
