Goal of the Activity

The goal of this activity was to break students' fear barrier of speaking with native speakers and improve their conversational skills and knowledge of the language they are studying.

Description

A Spanish Erasmus student attended a Spanish language class focussed on dialects at Palacky University. He prepared a presentation and a few activities.

The presentation consisted of an explanation about the origin of the Andalucian dialect, its characteristics, the differences between Western and Eastern AndalucĂa, some typical phrases and words from each Andalucian region, and audios of the student's friends from all different regions, in which they told jokes with their accent and a video of an Andalucian comedian in which he fights against Andalucian prejudices and stereotypes.
