Erasmus in Schools (EiS) is a project where International students studying abroad share their experience and give lessons about their country culture and traditions to create cultural awareness among local students and fight stereotypes about Erasmus.
Based on the experience of EiS online from the last semester, we decided to repeat this event again, but this time in a larger version.
We contacted Erasmus students that already participated in Presentations of Nations, Language courses or alumni Erasmus students. Participated in this event 8 Erasmus students and 10 ESN volunteers from VUT and MUNI. We approached seven high schools with an offer and we decided to hold the presentations via Zoom.
We had 15 different classes, in each of them we introduced the project, ESN and Erasmus + program in general. Then one Erasmus student per class had a presentation about his/her country, shared experience with Czech high-school students and explained that it's not hard to go on Erasmus. In the end, there was also time for a discussion.
