The goal is to inspire Czech high school students to study abroad by introducing them to various mobility opportunities. To achieve this, current exchange students share insights about their home countries and explain their reasons for choosing to study abroad.
During this activity, two Erasmus exchange students from Spain and Slovenia visited Gymnázium Jana Nerudy to share their experiences of studying abroad. Together, we engaged with three classes of 16-year-old students to highlight the exciting possibilities offered by mobility programs like Erasmus+.
The Erasmus students introduced their home countries, sharing what makes their cultures unique and explaining their personal reasons for choosing to study abroad. Their stories were inspiring and showed how mobility programs can broaden horizons and enrich lives.
In addition to the presentations, we held a small workshop where students discussed why they might want to study abroad and what concerns might hold them back. This sparked meaningful conversations about the challenges and benefits of international experiences.
The visit helped students better understand how they, too, can take advantage of mobility programs to explore new cultures, learn languages, and grow personally.
