Motivate Czech students to go abroad, raising awareness about Erasmus+ and mobility programmes
This year we organized the event in one week - 18.3. - 22.3. In total, we involved ten Erasmus students and seven ESN volunteers within Brno United (VUT, MUNI and MENDELU university). We approached four high schools with an offer and then we held the presentations.
We had thirteen different classes (because of that, in total there was an audience from 350 to 500 students), in each of them we introduced the project, ESN and Erasmus+ program in general. Then one Erasmus student per class had a presentation about his/her country, shared experience with Czech high-school students and explained that the opportunity to go on Erasmus is really accessible to them. In the end, there was also time for a discussion and a little quiz or game about the countries.
To celebrate their enthusiastic participation, all students who took part in our Erasmus in Schools event received commemorative diplomas and small tokens of appreciation at the closing ceremony, the Erasmus Awards.
