Goal of the Activity

The goal of the activity is to provide to the young people a place to meet mobility and career opportunities and provide free seminars and workshops for competences development.

Description

Erasmus Leaders 2024, the most comprehensive Youth Fair in Greece by ESN Greece, is taking place for the 3rd consecutive year and is coming to Technopolis, Municipality of Athens, on April 13-14! Career, study, volunteering, and exchange program opportunities await you at a two-day fair. Come to combine all your skills with the job market and to help you find opportunities to develop them.

During the youth fair, in addition to the fair for career and career opportunities, workshops, discussion panels, and 1-on-1 evaluations for CV & LinkedIn will be held.

The event started every day from 10 to 18 and was a combination of a youth fair and workshops/panels/dialogues happening at the same time. You can find the agenda for both of the days here. For the descriptions of the sessions, you can check the website here.

More than 25 companies & organisations joined the youth fair including the 2 Greek National Agencies to provide information about Erasmus+ and mobility opportunities and the Europe Direct of Athens to underline the importance of voting and active citizenship and inform young people about the available opportunities.

In the event, 12 workshops and 12 sessions focused on different topics (as you can see in the titles of the agenda) happened with more than 80 speakers/facilitators experts of their topics.

Besides the continued promotion of volunteering, mobility and active citizenship during the event and its format, some of the sessions were focused specifically on the EGiA priority and principles;

On Saturday sessions; "From the European Mobility to the European Career" was facilitated by the President of ESN Greece and the speakers were 3 people from the 2 National Agencies and EuroDesk of Greece. During the session was a short analysis of the opportunities available, how to use mobility for your future job and of course the importance of being an active citizen. Lastly, there was also, a small reference to the inclusion of the Programme. That was the 1st National Dialogue.

The workshop "How to Mobility" was held by the President of ESN Greece and had as the main concept the promotion of mobility opportunities and how they can change/improve you as a person. Also, a discussion about Tips and tricks and expectations vs reality regarding mobilities happened.

On Sunday, the sessions; "Thriving in an International Environment" & "Discover job positions through European Programmes"

The dialogue "Thriving in an International Environment" was mainly focused on how to be more active in an International and European Environment, how to be active at all the 3 levels (local, national & European level and understand what competences and strategies you need to do it. That was the 2nd National Dialogue.

The workshop "Discover job positions through European Programmes" was delivered by Kostis Giannidis (President of ESN 2018/20) and Anna Demiri (Alumnus) of ESN Greece. The session was focused on the European Programmes, learning how to find opportunities and how they can help you improve personally.
