We organized this event to help ESN Polands initiative of saving the Planet through planting trees.Besides planting trees participants would get the chance to integrate over a barbecue plus also discover a new part of the city
The ESN-EYE and ESN UŁ Tree Planting event was a memorable day full of purpose and teamwork. Starting early from the UŁ campus, students headed out to a remote forest site, where they met up with forest company experts who taught them how to properly plant trees. With everyone pitching in, they managed to plant an incredible 625 oak trees, making a real impact in supporting the local environment and fighting deforestation.
After all the hard work, the group gathered around for a BBQ, a perfect chance to relax, share stories, and reflect on the day’s impact. Beyond just planting trees, the event reminded everyone how important it is to care for our planet and to get others involved, too.
This day was a powerful reminder that small actions, like planting trees, can have a big impact. Each student left not only with dirty hands and a full heart but also with a commitment to keep spreading the word about taking care of our earth.
