- The main goal consists in promoting mobilities by helping students from The Academy of Economic Studies of Bucharest with answers to all their questions regarding Erasmus+ mobilities from the way to apply, how to find accommodation, how is the culture of the host country, which are the difference between the education systems etc.
- The secondary goal is to help students who were in an Erasmus+ mobility in the past to reintegrate, by offering them an environment to share their international experience, make new friends from the local students who went in a mobility in the same host country or who are interested in going in that specific country next year.
We reached local students who were in an Erasmus+ mobility in the past, through the help of the IRO of ASE Bucharest, and together with the volunteers from our section who study also at ASE we created 21 WhatsApp groups, according to the host country and linguistic spaces offered by our university. We presented the Erasmus Families programme for the first time at a mobility promotion session organised by ASE's IRO (around 115 participants) in order to reach the outgoing students, we also promoted the programme on our Social Media platforms and many ASE student groups. Students from all the faculties of the university, who want to apply for an Erasmus+ mobility joined the groups of the host countries they are interested in, according to the linguistic space. Outgoing students asked freely all the questions they had starting with the application procedure to the overall experience of the students who had been in those specific destination, the education system differences, costs, etc. Students who had already been in a mobility in those countries replied from their own experience and shared their personal stories.
