To foster cultural integration and interaction among international students through an artistic experience at the ENAIRE Museum in Santander. The aim was also to showcase part of the Spanish artistic heritage and create a space for dialogue on contemporary art.
The activity consisted of a visit to the ENAIRE Museum in Santander. The international students had the opportunity to explore three prominent exhibitions: Conciencia2 from the ENAIRE Collection, De arboris perennis by José Manuel Ballester, and Homenaje a la revista Occidente by Maruja Mallo. These exhibitions showcased various forms of contemporary art, including photography and painting, allowing participants to immerse themselves in the world of art and the thought behind each piece. The explanations provided in English during the tour facilitated the understanding of the historical and conceptual background of the works, as well as an enriching debate about their interpretations.
