The goal of the activity was raising awareness about climate change and its effects on migrations. The goal of the host organization is giving access to free healthcare to everybody in the planet. The motto is "Human rights should be everybody's, if not, we should call them privileges".
The impact of climate change is evident everywhere now: nowadays more and more people are forced to flee their country, devastated by environmental disasters. In the Venetian headquarters of Emergency, the humanitarian association founded by Gino Strada, a rigorous and engaging exhibition dismantles the illusion of not being touched by the climate crisis and addresses to all of us the question "Where are we going?". Many of the panels on display have been created in collaboration with IUAV, precisely by students like us.
You will also have the unique opportunity to wear the visor to virtually board Emergency Life Support's ship and observe up close a migrant rescue mission in the Mediterranean Sea.
The exhibition is officially closed to the public but Emergency volunteers have agreed to host us exceptionally!
