Goal of the Activity

The goal of the activity is to foster a spirit of active citizenship around environmental sustainability and provide the participants with concrete information on how to be sustainable at least during and after their Erasmus experience.

As with any eco-citizen activity, it aims to raise public awareness on the impacts of pollution linked to waste, with a special focus here on water pollution, raise awareness by allowing the participants to be actors and not spectators, preserve the ecosystem and the regional environment, spend a friendly and human moment of exchange.

Description

Clean up one of the tributaries of the Rhine by canoe and comply with the following statement: “Collecting waste, a small gesture for a great cause”. As a combination of physical activity and civic engagement, it makes the event an original and attractive opportunity to discover Alsace's nature while becoming more ecologically committed. It is a perfect way to discover this well-known river in Alsace eco-responsible way and learn about sustainable mobility.
