Our monthly international dinners are supposed to bring people from all over the world together to explore the cuisine of another country or region. It is about socialising, culture, but also about responsible consumption and sustainability. The Dutch Dinner is dedicated to teaching international students more about their new home country and facilitating their integration. As the events are organised by our international dinner committee, it also allows them to improve their skills and get themselves involved.
The event was organised by our international dinner committee. We got all the groceries that we needed and then cooked together all day long. When the participants arrived, we had a nice and spacious venue that was also decorated, we began with a starter. After that, we played typical Dutch Party games and continued afterwards with the main dish. Before the dessert, we taught them some typical Dutch dances and songs.
