The aim of the activity was to enlight the importance to embrace cultural differences
We organized a webinar, made by a local Master students who has lived for a period in China, to explain the differences of the oriental culture compare to our own culture. During the lesson, the focus was made on different aspects such as chinese traditions and idioms, importance of colors, importance and symbols in the use of small things such as fan and chopsticks, tea ceremony. The lesson was followed by a brief Kahoot quiz, to test the knowledge about China, and questions regarding different things such as chinese food, difference in the way Chinese live and look at our Occidental world. The lesson has been very interesting, and gave the possibility to learn something new about China and to reflect abut the importance to overcome superstitions and embrace a different culture.
