Goal of the Activity

This event aligns with ESN’s causes of Social Inclusion, Culture, and Health & Well-being by encouraging students to step out of their comfort zones, engage in meaningful conversations, and build a sense of community through food. By fostering new connections in a casual and inclusive setting, the event helps combat loneliness, supports intercultural dialogue, and enhances the overall student experience. Through shared meals and open discussions, Dining with Strangers promotes friendship, diversity, and a sense of belonging among local and international students.

Description

ESN Vilnius University presents Dining with Strangers, an exciting opportunity for students to break the routine, meet new people, and enjoy great food together. Instead of dining alone or with the usual crowd, participants are matched with fellow students for a shared meal, creating space for unexpected connections, engaging conversations, and a fun social experience.

During the event, participants:
🍽️ Enjoy a home-cooked meal in a welcoming and relaxed setting
🗣️ Meet and interact with new people, expanding their social circles
🎉 Share stories, cultures, and perspectives over a shared dining experience

With a deadline to sign up by February 12th at 3 PM, participants are carefully matched to ensure a diverse and engaging mix of dining companions. Whether looking for new friendships, cultural exchange, or simply a good meal, this event provides the perfect setting to connect, socialize, and make lasting memories.
