Day trip to Padova

We took an early train from Verona and arrived at Padova at 11:00. Thanks to the city tour given to us by the volunteers of ESN Padova, we got to know about the history of Prato della Valle, one of the biggest squares in the world and the church of Santa Guistina. We then saw the Saint Antony's Basilica, the frescoes inside and the courtyard. We visited the Law Faculty of the University of Padova and got to know more about the campus and the traditions of students for graduating. After lunch break, we regrouped at 14:00 at Tomb of Antenor and resumed our city tour there. We visited the famous Caffe Pedrocchi and we finished the city tour at the Astronomical clock in Piazza dei Signori. After the tour we shared a drink to end our beautiful day in Padova with a toast!
