A Traditional Czech Christmas Evening, offering participants an immersive experience of Czech holiday customs and traditions. The event provided a valuable opportunity for the Exchange students to deepen their understanding of Czech culture through food, hands-on activities, and an informative presentation. Participants enjoyed a variety of traditional Czech Christmas dishes, including schnitzels, potato salad, and "vánočka," along with other festive treats. They also had the option to try their hand at Czech traditions such as decorating gingerbread, sailing nut boats, throwing the slipper, creating paper snowflakes, and creating their own „vánočka“ or apple cutting. A presentation on Czech Christmas traditions and cultural practices further enriched the evening, providing participants with historical context and insights into the unique aspects of the Czech holiday season. The event attracted a diverse group of Exchange students, fostering cultural exchange and community building.
