The goal of the activity is to gain information and perspective on cyberbullying, learn how to deal with it and what kind of rights we do have for such scenarios.
This activity is conducted in cooperation with ESN Gazi within the scope of Cause Ambassadors project. In the activity, as a board member of TABİD association which aims to actualise any kind of activity about technology, innovation, science, research and development in a way that may help social development, Melih Aşıcı made a presentation about cyberbullying, its types and how to deal with it. Afterwards, as a lawyer, Dr. Barış Günaydın gave participants information about the digital rights we should know and legal basis to cope with cyberbullying. After this part, a case study was conducted. To gain more awareness about cyberbullying and more interaction between participants, participants split up into 2 groups and worked on the specific cyberbullying cases given and shared their ideas on how to deal with that kind of cyberbullying in the case. At the end of the activity, participants could ask further questions and get answers about the topic.
