In the middle of April ESN Zlin took Erasmus students to Krakow to see not only beauty of this historical city, but also to visit concentration camp Auschwitz. It is important to learn about the history and get to know more about the reality that was happening in the previous century. On Friday 14.4. ESN Zlin took a bus from Zlín with one stop at the gas station to buy some snacks or to use toilet. After 3 hours of ride, students arrived near Auschwitz where they had 3 hours long tour provided in English by tour guide. Students could see the bedrooms, different prisons, bathrooms and properties left by prisoners. Whole tour was emotional truly touching for everyone. Part of the tour was also visiting Auschwitz-Birkenau which is another concentration camp that held hundreds of Jews. After the tour ESN Zlin used bus to get to the Krakow city center where other programme for students could start.
