Goal of the Activity
Each student created its new tote bag upcycling a t-shirt that was not supposed to have a second life. No skills were needed before the workshop, during which the girl that carried out the workshop taught.
Description
ESN organised this workshop during late afternoon with the owner of Bio Fashion Lab, where our erasmus students had their upcycling workshop session. All materials apart from t-shirts were provided by Bio Fashion Lab; for the t-shirts instead, all volunteers from ESN Florentia collected old ones that were no longer used. The workshop did last more or less 2 hours, and students were divided in 2 groups: one following the event and the other one exploring second-hand/vintage sales of the shop. Then the 2 groups swapped.
