Give people the opportunity to show some of the facts and beauties of their countries of origin.
People can learn more about different cultures.
During the semester we organized three Country Presentations (CP). The Czech Republic and Slovakia were presented on the first one. We wanted to educate our International students about our culture, traditions and food and also prepare them for culture shocks and correct behavior, for example recycling plastic, glass and metal. And also to showcase how the presentation should look like.
After the first event, we had one more event like this, where five countries participated. Part of the presentation was also some traditional food, songs and dances. After every round of CP, participants voted for the best presentation. We are always announcing the winners at other events to motivate them to participate. As a thank you to the presenters we decided to award them at the end of semester at the Erasmus Awards where every participant got a small prize.
Mongolia, Slovenia, Australia presented on the first CP in the semester after Czech/Slovak and Bosna and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Italy on the second CP.
