Presentin cultural differences, heritage, some interesting facts and pictures from each country as well as trying national meals and baverages.
Part of our Welcome week for international students was country presentation, where we had about 20 minutes long presentations for Czech republic and Slovakia. Because our section have lots of volunteers from both countries, we could easily split for this activity and prepare presenation, where we presented cultural differences, heritage, some interesting facts and pictures from each country. After the presentations, international students could try some national food and drinks prepared and brought by volunteers. For meals and drinks we offered paper cups and plates as we care about sustainability and zero waste impact. After tasting the meals and baverages, there was a secret voting, where students voted for «better» country.
