By organizing this event, ESN Ancona aimed to the enhancement of the natural aspects and the biodiversity of Monte Conero
On the 13th of April 2024, ESN Ancona organized a hiking trip to Monte Conero, aimed to include both international students and local volunteers.
The event began early in the morning, with participants gathering in Ancona to catch the bus, guided by some volunteers. The hike covered several scenic trails in Monte Conero, such as Pian Grande, Belvedere Nord and Pian di Raggetti. Each student brought their packed lunch, and in the afternoon the group headed back to catch the bus to the centre of Ancona. The routes were not hard and accessible to anyone, so everyone could easily appreciate the territory and the beautiful views.
This hike was the perfect way to let the students know each other while enjoying one of the most famous natural spot of Marche region. Monte Conero, in fact, is well known for his flora and fauna, which makes it very important for its biodiversity.
