The coffee gathering aimed to offer a relaxed space for students to connect, share experiences, and build new friendships. Serving coffee in glass cups reflected our commitment to a zero-waste approach, promoting both sustainability and community.
On the first day of orientation, following a comprehensive tour of the campus, we gathered for coffee to unwind and get to know one another better. The students were served their coffees in glass cups instead of paper ones, adding a touch of sustainability to the gathering. The large-sized portions led to some amusing moments of cultural surprise, particularly for those unaccustomed to such generous servings. This relaxed atmosphere encouraged open conversations, allowing everyone to mingle freely and form deeper connections, setting a positive tone for the rest of their experience.
