Goal of the Activity
Raise awareness about the opportunity to use the public transport opportunities given with the student ID to discover not only the whole region of NRW but also neighbouring cities in the BeNeLux area (NRW ticket), Discover the Netherlands and point out the numerous cultural and historical relations within those regions.
Description
We were visiting the ancient city of Venlo in the Province of Limburg. The Trip itself was of course organised sustainable by using public transport. After a short city tour including the Maas, the old town and of course the town hall we ended at the market place where we gave our students the opportunity to discover the local food and to discover the city further on their own.
By organising this activity, the organisers want to contribute to the following Sustainable Development Goals
