City Tour of Ioannina

Our beginning spot and meeting point will be the Dikastiko Area.
We are going to take a cup of coffee and start walking down the street to our first destination is Ioannina Eye, or Big Ben of Ioannina as we call it for fun! It is one of the most famous attractions of the city.
Next is Litharitsia, which is only one minute from the Big Ben! There, we will see the whole city from a panoramic view! As we continue to cross down the main street of the city in order to go to the Lake, after around 10 minutes of walking we will be in the famous Castle of Ioannina or Its Kale as it is called. There we will get a historical view and learn some important details for the history of the city! Last but not least, is the Lake of Ioannina! Finally, we will walk through Anexartisias Street(the exact translation is Independence Street!). This street is one of the most famous streets of the city. It is the place where the biggest part of the Ioannina’s nightlife is. There are a lot of traditional stores with local foods(mezedes )where we can try and drink the traditional Greek drink, tsipouro
