As any other City Tour, the goal of the event was to introduce the Erasmus students to the city where they would have lived for the rest of the semester or the year. At the same time, we got to know them better, and vice versa.
We organized the tour as usual: we started at the base of the city walls (Mercatale) then we headed toward the town centre, showing the Erasmus students all the points of interest. We ended our tour on the highest spot in Urbino, in a big park where we usually end our city tours, to show the Erasmus students the amazing landscape view of the town and take some photos to post on our social pages (Fortezza Albornoz).
This year we did a more detailed tour of the old town, showing not only the main square, the Ducal Palace and the main points of interest, but also stopping in a different place for each major local Partner.
Unlike previous city tours, where it was not needed, this year the students signed the disclaimers and wore face masks.
Even if this year, for obvious reasons, the Erasmus students who attended the city tour were fewer than the previous one, the event was a big success anyway. We had the chance to get to know them better and they could get to know each other too.
