Goal of the Activity
Guided city tour designed to welcome new Erasmus students, helping them discover the main historical attractions and get to know the city. First event of the Welcome Week.
Description
The Erasmus City Tour lasted about two hours and allowed participants to visit the historic center of Lecce. During the tour, stops were made at some of the city's most significant landmarks, such as Porta Napoli and the Obelisk, Lecce Cathedral, Piazza Sant’Oronzo, and the Basilica of Santa Croce.
In addition to exploring these sites, students had the opportunity to hear some historical curiosities about the city. The tour was the first event of the Welcome Week, designed to help newcomers get oriented and learn more about Lecce.
By organising this activity, the organisers want to contribute to the following Sustainable Development Goals
