ESN Rimini has decided to organize this event to raise awareness among Erasmus student concerning the disability in sport.
Since the Day of Disability is the 3 December, ESN Rimini organised the vision of The film "Rising Phoneix" to create a moment of sharing and thinking about this topic.
Under these circumstances, we use Netflix as a platform to be able to watch simultant the movie and at the same time and to have the opportunity to comoment through the group chat. One of our volunteers, right before the scheduled time, shared the link of the event on the Whatsapp group to access it.
The chosen film is a documentary that deals with the birth and evolution of the Paralympics. Basically, It is structured by a mix of original competition videos broadcast and some athlets' testimonies of how they faced their disability in order to reach stratospheric goals.It seemed to us the right theme and the right way to talk about disability and passion and dedication for sport.
